I. CERTIFIED CLINICAL HYPNOTIST/HYPNOTHERAPIST
A. Duration of Training - Minimum of 45 hours training in hypnosis/hypnotherapy. Training must be performed by a Certified Trainer of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy or Certified Master Practitioner of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy with supervision from a Certified Trainer of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy.
B. Complete a written proficiency examination with a minimum score of 80%.
C. Demonstration of the ability to identify hypnosis skills and techniques in one of the following methods and to obtain a successful trance session with an individual while using the specific method: Krasner, Erickson, Elman, or Estabrooks.
D. Training to include at least the following areas:

1. Overview of the history of hypnosis
2. Prime Directives of the Unconscious Mind
3. Explanation of hypnosis
4. Stages of hypnosis
5. Psychology of suggestions
    a. Metaphors - brief
    b. Post-hypnotic suggestions
6. Steps to the specific hypnosis method
7. Smoking cessation
8. Weight loss
9. Pain management
    a. Additional pain management techniques
10. Follow-up sessions
11. Self-Hypnosis
12. Overview of the certification process
13. Scope of Practice
14. Hypnosis as a business
II. CERTIFIED PRACTITIONER of HYPNOSIS/HYPNOTHERAPY
A. Duration of training - Minimum of 120 hours of training in hypnosis/hypnotherapy to include various methods. Training must be performed by a Certified Trainer of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy or Certified Master Practitioner of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy with supervision from a Certified Trainer of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy.
B. Must successfully guide and demonstrate the obtaining of arm catalepsy during a trance session with an individual.
C. Trainings to include the following areas:
1. Erickson
    a. Fundamentals and its 3 stages
    b. Patterns of Indirect Suggestion
    c. Preparation for a hypnosis session
    d. Ericksonian Induction I with demonstration and practice
    e. Ericksonian Induction II with demonstration and practice
2. Elman
    a. Elman's Theory About Induction
    b. Elman's Stages of Hypnosis
    c. Elements of Elman's Hypnotic Inductions
    d. Pre-talk
    e. Elman Induction I/Practice with pre-talk
    f. Elman Induction II/Practice with pre-talk
3. Pendulum - what, why, how with demonstration and practice
III. CERTIFIED MASTER PRACTITIONER of HYPNOSIS/HYPNOTHERAPY
A. Duration of training - Minimum of 120 hours of advanced training in hypnosis/hypnotherapy to include various methods with focus on more complex, therapeutic client issues. Training must be performed by a Certified Trainer of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy.
B. Must already be at the Practitioner of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy level.
C. Demonstration of the ability to identify advanced hypnosis skills and techniques and to successfully guide a trance session to obtain full-body catalepsy between two (2) chairs.
D. Training must include the following:
1. Advanced Ericksonian Methods
2. Advanced Elman Techniques
3. Estabrooks Techniques
    a. Overview of Estabrooks Methods
    b. Direct Authoritarian Induction/Practice
    c. Progressive Test Induction/Practice
    d. Convincers/Practice
4. Design generative and remedial interventions.
5. Evaluate ecological change work.
6. Shifting easily back and forth between content and form, and experience and label.
7. Multiple Embedded Metaphors - what, why, how with demonstration and practice
8. Analog Pendulum - what, why, how with demonstration and practice
IV. CERTIFIED TRAINER OF HYPNOSIS/HYPNOTHERAPY
A. Duration of training - Minimum of 40 hours of very advanced training in hypnosis/hypnotherapy to include the skills of how hypnosis/hypnotherapy is successfully taught. Must be taught by a Certified Master Trainer of NLP who is also a Certified Trainer of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy or a Certified Trainer of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy that is supervised by a Certified Master Trainer of NLP who is also a Certified Trainer of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy.
B. Must already be at the Master Practitioner of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy level.
C. Must be a Trainer of NLP.
D. Must demonstrate competence in the following:
1. All of the skills and hypnosis methods taught at the Clinical Hypnotherapy, Practitioner, and Master Practitioner levels.
2. Separately and successfully use Ericksonian, Elman, and Estabrooks methods of hypnosis with participants. Krasner method is optional.
3. Successfully do a stage hypnosis performance with several participants.
4. Design a beginning Accelerated Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy Training.
D. Areas to cover in training must include at least the following:
1. Instruction in how/what to cover in a Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy Training.
2. Quick review of hypnosis basics for all methods and important tips for training.
3. Quick review of the specific methods and important tips for training.
4. How-to and important points about doing demonstrations.
5. Rapid Induction Methods
6. Optional- Spoon bending
7. Process of certification and Approved Institute certification.

I. CERTIFIED PRACTITONER of NLP
A. Duration of Training - Minimum of 120 hours of training in the basics of NLP. Taught by a Certified Master Practitioner of NLP under the supervision of a Certified Trainer of NLP, or a Certified Trainer of NLP, or a Certified Master Trainer of NLP.
B. Demonstration of the ability to identify the following basic skills, techniques, patterns and concepts of NLP and to utilize them successfully with self and others.

5. Meta-Model
6. Milton Model
7. Elicitation of well-formed, ecological outcomes and structures of present state.

II. CERTIFIED MASTER PRACTITIONER of NLP
A. Duration of Training - Minimum of 120 hours of advanced NLP training. Taught by a Certified Trainer of NLP or a Certified Master Trainer of NLP. Minimum of 15 hours of direct trainer supervision.
B. Must be at the Practitioner of NLP level.
C. Demonstration of the ability to identify the following basic skills, techniques, patterns and concepts of NLP and to utilize these successfully with self and with others.
1. All NLP practitioner level skills.
2. Design individual interventions.
3. Master Practitioner Skills
    a. Meta Programs
    b. Criteria (Values)
        (1) sleight of mouth
    c. Installation and utilization of strategies
    d. Refined use of submodalities
    e. Negotiations
    f. Presentation skills
    g. Modeling
III. CERTIFED TRAINER of NLP
A. Duration of Training - Minimum of 120 hours of very advanced training. Taught by a Certified Master Trainer of NLP. Minimum of 15 hours of direct trainer supervision.
B. Must be at the Master Practitioner of NLP level.
C. Satisfactory behavioral demonstrations of the following:
1. Successfully complete behavioral demonstrations in all Practitioner and Master Practitioner level skills, ability to do any and all practitioner and master practitioner techniques simultaneously both overtly and covertly.
2. Demonstrate ability to shift between content and form (i.e. between experience and labeling).
3. Ability to do (demonstrate the behavior of) what one is teaching, to teach what one is doing, to teach what one is doing and to label it linguistically (i.e. model self).
4. Demonstration of Presentation and Teaching Skills:
a. Pacing and leading
b. Respect for the audience (i.e. at least keeping separate your's and other's model of the world, and responding to these congruently; considering and responding ecologically to others; conscious and unconscious processes).
c. Answers questions that include discerning the level and intent of questions and generating level-appropriate responses .
d. Design of presentation - At the least, setting opening and closing frames, setting outcomes, chunking and sequencing of information and experience, balancing information - giving information and allowing occasions for discovery, and facilitating generalization of information and skills across context and time.
e. Design of exercises - At the least, providing for both overt and covert learning in each exercise, including previously learned material for cumulative learning, specifying outcomes of exercises, providing a task for all involved persons insuring behavioral learning, and including a future pace.
f. Explanation of exercises including the ability to explain an exercise behaviorally without the use of notes or printed aids.
g. Use of deep and shallow metaphor.
h. Utilization of multi-level feedback - Ongoing re-evaluation and incorporation of overt and covert information from individuals and group.
i. Graceful intervention in groups - At the least maintaining rapport and giving specific sensory grounded feedback, via questions that directionalize appropriate search to facilitate peoples discovery for themselves, demonstration, or if necessary, overtly telling them what to do.
j. "Tasking" - creation of a task that presupposes that a person behaves in a different way that expands his/her model of the world.
k. Performs successful demonstrations.
5. Demonstration of a personal style and artistry (indicating that the new trainer is integrating skills into his/her own behavior).
6. Design in writing, a Practitioner and Master Practitioner NLP Training.
IV. CERTIFIED MASTER TRAINER of NLP
A. Duration of Training - Minimum of three (3) years as lead trainer in Practitioner and Master Practitioner NLP Trainings. Must be taught by a Certified Master Trainer of NLP.
B. Must be at the Trainer of NLP level.
C. Demonstration of the following behavioral competencies:
1. Practitioner, Master Practitioner, and Trainer level of NLP knowledge and techniques.
2. Lead Trainer in at least five (5) Practitioner of NLP Trainings. Proof of trainings necessary.
3. Lead Trainer in at least three (3) Master Practitioner Trainings. Proof of trainings necessary.
D. Documentation of direct supervision by a Certified Master Trainer of NLP doing the training. The result of these evidentiary procedures would be that the Certified Master Trainer of NLP would "know" the candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities as an NLP Trainer and would be able to attest to those areas. Documentation would include:
1. Immediate and accurate recall and teaching of any NLP subject from memory (without written notes).
2. Assisting and teaching at three (3) Master Practitioner of NLP Trainings that are taught by a Certified Master Trainer of NLP. Topics of instruction should show variety of material. Quality of instruction should be at satisfactory or higher. Proof and quality of instruction must be signed by the Certified Master Trainer of NLP.
3. Assisting at three (3) consecutive Trainers Trainings for NLP. Proof of assistance with a listing of areas of responsibility that were performed and signed by the Certified Master Trainer of NLP.
4. Able to think and discuss at least two (2) logical levels above the content of Trainer level of NLP.
E. During this process, demonstrate a willingness to learn how to improve his/her knowledge, skills, and abilities in NLP Training by having meetings/discussions with the Certified Master Trainer as needed.
F. There may be additional requirements which are more subjective, and may be discussed with your Certified Master Trainer.
G. Must be approved by two (2) Master Trainers of NLP from different organizations.

I. CERTIFIED PRACTITIONER of Mental and Emotional Release®
A. Successfully complete a Mental and Emotional Release® Practitioner training taught by a Certified Trainer of MER® at the Practitioner Level or a Certified Trainer of MER® at the Master Practitioner Level.
B. Must be at least at the Practitioner of NLP level or higher, OR...
have credentials in one of the following qualifying fields

- Psychology Ph.D. or Psy.D.
- Medical Doctor M.D.
- Chiropractic Doctor D.C.

D. Must have successfully demonstrated the guiding of another person to release negative emotions using MER®.
E. Training must include the following:
1. Trademark and copyright notice
2. Major premise
3. Review of Prime Directive of the Unconscious Mind
4. Elicitation of personal and others time lines
a. Time Line #1
b. Time Line #2
5. Specific Mental and Emotional Release® Techniques
a. Negative Emotion #1
b. Negative Emotion #2
c. Limiting Decisions and Beliefs
d. Anxieties
e. Fast Phobia Model
6. Each technique needs to have the following:
a. Agreement with the unconscious mind for the release.
b. Appropriate steps to identify and return to the root cause/the first event.
c. Release of the negative emotion or limiting belief/decision at the root cause/first event.
d. Preservation of positive learnings.
e. Evaluation of and release of negative emotions or limiting beliefs/decisions on subsequent events on gestalt.
f. Test and Future Pace.
7. Putting things in the future time line for self and others.
8. Problem solving for MER® (reframes, what to check for at Position C).
9. Scope of Practice for Practitioner of MER®
F. Other information that may be shared:

III. CERTIFIED TRAINER of Mental and Emotional Release® AT THE PRACTITIONER LEVEL
A. Duration of Training: Minimum of 16 hours
B. Training must be taught by a Certified Master Trainer of NLP who is also a Certified Trainer of MER® at the Master Practitioner Level, or a Certified Trainer of NLP with a Certification as a Trainer of MER® at the Master Practitioner Level and is under supervision from a Certified Master Trainer of NLP who is also a Certified Trainer of MER® at the Master Practitioner Level.
C. Must be at the Master Practitioner of MER® Level.
D. Must be a Trainer of NLP.
E. Skills Requirement:
1. To have knowledge of the following and successful behavioral demonstrations for self and others:
    a. General Information
    b. Perception is Projection
    c. Cause and Effect
    d. Responsibility for Change
    e. SMART Goals
    f. Gestalts
    g. Periods of Personality Development (imprinting, modeling, socialization)

IV. CERTIFIED TRAINER of MER® AT THE MASTER PRACTITIONER LEVEL
A. Duration of Time - Must have a minimum of 8 hours of training.
B. Training must be taught by a Certified Master Trainer of NLP who is also a Certified Trainer of MER® at the Master Practitioner Level, or a Certified Trainer of NLP with a Certification as a Trainer of MER® at the Master Practitioner Level and is under supervision from a Certified Master Trainer of NLP who is also a Certified Trainer of MER® at the Master Practitioner Level..
C. Must be at the Certified Trainer of MER® at the Practitioner Level.
D. Must be a Trainer of NLP.
E. Experience
1. Must have three years of experience of being a Certified Trainer of MER® at the Practitioner Level.
F. Skill Requirements
1. To have knowledge and successful behavioral demonstrations in all MER® Practitioner and Master Practitioner material.
2. To have knowledge and successful behavioral demonstrations in NLP material that is necessary for use with MER®.
G. Training must include the following:
1. Any updates to the MER® Practitioner and Master Practitioner material.
2. Key points of training the MER® Master Practitioner material.
3. Key points for successful demonstrations for the MER® Master Practitioner material.
H. Must return for re-training every three (3) years.
